“To be a horse”: a nature retreat with free-roaming horses

Free-roaming horses remind us of a more authentic way of living. They don't judge, they simply reflect. Slow down, reconnect, and discover everything they have to teach

Description

Step away from the noise of everyday life and immerse yourself in a landscape of mountains, waterfalls and unspoilt nature.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel yourself slowing down, your breathing deepen, your mind begin to quieten, and your body return to a more natural rhythm.

Horses that live freely embody presence, authenticity and balance. Their remarkable sensitivity allows them to mirror what is happening within us humans, offering an honest reflection of ourselves, without judgement or expectation.

With them, communication goes beyond words. Through quiet observation and guided interactions, you’ll discover a different way of listening, one rooted in awareness, trust and genuine connection.

This unique coaching experience, surrounded by silence, open spaces and horses, invites you to embrace a slower rhythm, release stress and reconnect with your body, your emotions and the present moment.

As you let go of external pressures, you’ll begin to create space for clarity, calm and self-discovery. It is from this place that a deeper connection with yourself and with the horses naturally unfolds.

No. No previous experience is required. The retreat is designed for beginners as well as for those who already have experience with horses.

Do I need to be physically fit?

No. The activities are gentle and accessible. You simply need to be comfortable walking in a natural environment.

Will we ride the horses?

No. All activities take place on the ground. The experience is based on observing, interacting and connecting with the horses while respecting their freedom and natural behaviour.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

Yes. To ensure a meaningful and personalised experience, retreats are held in small groups. Please contact us for details about group sizes.

What age is this retreat suitable for?

The retreat is designed for adults. If you would like to attend with younger participants, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise you.

I'm a little nervous around horses. Is this retreat suitable for me?

Absolutely. Many participants have little or no previous contact with horses, and most of them tend to be nervous around horses, since they are big, and wild. But our horses are peaceful and comfortable around humans. You have nothing to worry about. In fact, you’ll be guided throughout the entire experience, and all interactions take place at your own pace in a safe and respectful environment.

What is the purpose of the retreat?

The retreat offers a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself and experience personal growth through guided interactions with free-roaming horses. Every participant’s journey is unique, and there is no expectation to achieve a specific outcome.
